How my experience can benefit you:
I have been a registered midwife for over 23 years, working in Sydney, London and regional NSW. My midwifery practice and experience has ranged between large tertiary referral centres to community-based Midwifery Group Practices and in more recent years, in a regional hospital setting.
I have developed a particular interest in providing clinical supervision, mentoring, debriefing and support for student midwives, new graduates, midwives and others who work with women and birth.
Over the past eight years I have facilitated Student Midwife Support Circles; offered regular Clinical Supervision sessions for B Mid students; co-facilitated on-line Midwife and Birth Keeper Circles; co-facilitated the With Woman Retreat: Reclaiming Childbirth a Rite of Passage and presented at national conferences. I have pursued further study and training in Clinical Supervision, Mentoring and Leadership.
I have seen a lot, learnt a lot and found my own way through a hugely rewarding and sometimes challenging midwifery career. I have a passion for supporting and midwifing women through their journey with pregnancy, birth and beyond. Likewise, I also hold a passion for supporting and ‘midwifing’ others who work with women and birth. I have skill, experience and wisdom to offer in support of those who are providing the vitally important work of caring for pregnant women, their families and babies; those who are birthing our future.

Midwife & Birth Keeper Circles
Online Midwife and Birth Keeper Circles, facilitated by Judy Mort and Jessie Johnson-Cash, provide a welcoming space for connection, conversation, inspiration and sharing. By gathering in this way you will receive the inner nourishment that is required so you are best placed to continue the important work you do with women and birth.
Experience positive and restorative practices, for birth work and for life.
Participation attracts 2 hours CPD. Fees are tax deductible and student rates available.
Places in each circle are limited ensuring personalised attention for all participants.

About Judy
An experienced midwife, Judy has spent over 20 years working with birthing women and families. She works as a hospital-based midwife and is a home birthing mother. Judy facilitates clinical supervision sessions and provides mentorship for student midwives. She is experienced in the art of holding Circle as a supportive and restorative practice for birth workers.
About Jessie
Jessie Johnson-Cash is a midwife, academic and shamanic craftswoman. She facilitates support circles for the student midwives at the University of the Sunshine Coast and registered midwives and doulas in her local community. She is passionate about promoting physiological and instinctive birth, and supporting and building connections; with ourselves, our colleagues and the women we work with.

Midwife and Birth Keeper Circles are starting again. Held online via Zoom.
During the Circles you will:
